Creamy White Sauce Pasta Recipe🔥:
A dreamy, silky smooth white sauce that is an indulgent delight — great for all pasta lovers!
Ingredients:
.) 200g Penne paste (or any shaped pasta you fancy)
.) 2 tbsp butter (unsalted)
.) 3 cloves garlic(minced)
.) 1 cup heavy cream
.) 1 cup whole milk
.) 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (to thicken)
.) ½ c. grated Parmesan cheese (for creaminess, cheesiness)
.) Salt and pepper(to taste)
.) 1/2 tsp dried oregano (for a bit more herbaceousness)
.) 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional, for more flavor)
.) Parsley (for garnishing, finely chopped)
.) Optional vegetables (like peas, bell peppers or spinach)
Instructions:
Step 1: Boil the pasta
Boil water in a large pot, and add a pinch of salt to it.
Set your penne pasta on to cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes usually)
When the pasta is cooked, drain and put aside.
Step 2: Make the White Sauce (Bechamel Sauce)
Melt butter in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add extra richness with olive oil.
Add the flour to the pan, and stir for about 1 minute. This is what makes the roux, which will thicken your sauce.
Slowly add the milk but keep stirring so that no lumps are formed. Then stir in heavy cream and keep mixing.
On low-heat, allow the sauce to simmer stirring occasionally until it thickens to a smooth consistency (3-5 minutes).
Knead Parmesan cheese into the sauce until completely dissolved, a cream and cheesy pasta sauce becomes. `
Taste and adjust with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder. Taste and adjust as need be for seasoning — more salt, more lemon, more honey, etc.
Step 3: Mix the Pasta With the Sauce
Toss in boiled pasta into the skillet containing the white sauce.
Gently toss the pasta to coat it evenly with the cream sauce. Make sure all the pasta is reasonably coated withthe sauce.
Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes on low heat so that the pasta could absorb some flavor from the sauce.
 FOUR: Garnish and Serve
And sprinkle some fresh parsley over the pasta for color and more fresh flavor.
Enjoy white-hot, and sprinkle some more Parmesan cheese on top if cheesing around!
Serving Tips:
Accompany your white sauce pasta with garlic bread for a wholesome meal.
For a heartier meal, top it with grilled chicken or roasted veggies.
