Does guide to beef burger recipe:
Prepare the Beef Patties:
Step 1:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper.
Gently combinate the ingredients, taking care that they are interspersed but without compacting the meat too much.
Divide mixture into 4 equal portions, and mold each into a patty, making it a little thinner in the center (to prevent bulging as they cook).
Cook the Beef Patties :
Heat a skillet or grill pan on medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the pan.
Once the pan is hot, place the patties filling the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until your level of doneness: Flip the patties.
For cheeseburgers, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese during the final minute and cover with a lid so the cheese melts.
Assemble the Burger :
Lightly toast the burger buns in the pan until golden.
Put a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with as many lettuce, tomato slices, pickles and sauces (ketchup, mustard or mayo) as you like.
Come on with the other half of the bun, and serve your burger right away, alongside fries or other favorite side dish.
How to Make Perfect Beef Burgers at Home:
Pick the Right Ground Beef: Go for the juiciest burgers by selecting ground beef with a higher fat content (80% lean to 20% fat). The fat also keeps the burgers juicy and delicious.
Don’t Overwork the Meat: Combine the ingredients just until they come together. Burgers should not be overmixed, or else they can become tough.
Season Generously: When it comes to seasoning, do not hold back! Salt and pepper are critical but you can throw in some smoked paprika or onion powder, for example, for a different taste.
Rest the Patties: After cooking, allow the patties to rest for a few minutes before assembling the burger. This will keep the juices locked in the patty.
